Lithology and Thickness
Conglomerate to sand. Separated into 3 phases; with first (Phase I) being generally gravels; and Phases II and III as generally sands and gravels.

Relationships and Distribution
Lower contact
Unconformity on underlying Precambrian crystalline rocks. Unconformity is from the Third (last) uplift of Sri Lanka/Ceylon region.

Locally conformable with Balangonda Fm ?
